NX 9.0 Drafting - No Expand Nor View Dependent Edit

NX 9.0 Drafting - No Expand Nor View Dependent Edit

(OP)
I have a file that, in drafting mode, does not give me an "Expand" nor "View Dependent Option". I did a save as, and the original and the saved as files have the same issue. How do I make these two options available? I have no issue with the other components in the assembly on have these options, just this file.

I just realized that the issue is that the view I was trying to do these commands in is a detail view. And, from what I have experienced, the user cannot modify the detailed view, like view dependent edit. If someone knows how to do a view dependent edit on a detailed view, I would appreciate it.

RE: NX 9.0 Drafting - No Expand Nor View Dependent Edit

Try making it an independent detail view.

Yes, rmc on the detail view and you will see make independent
then you will able to do what you want just like any other view
