Dear collegaes,
Is there a manufacturer that has a good solution for providing pipeguides on horizontal U or anglesteel? (NO HOTWORK)
Sometimes someone provided this type of steel (wrongly) instead of IPE or HE beams.
Thank You for Your support in advance.

RE: Pipeguide on U or anglesteel

A double nutted U-bolt works pretty well as long as there's no big stress that it has to buck!

Sorry for my incoplete info, I meant a solid shoe guide for a 10 to 18" line with considerably forces on it.

RE: Pipeguide on U or anglesteel

You would have to make something up. Probably have to weld threaded rod to a shoe, drill holes into the steel and then attach.
