Young's Modulus for SA240-304L at 950F?

Young's Modulus for SA240-304L at 950F?

Young's Modulus for SA240-304L at 950F?

(OP)
Dear all,
Does anyone have the Young's Modulus for SA240-304L at 950F? Section II Part D Fig HA-3 has E value up to 800F only. I need it at 950F in order to calculate deflection for support beam. Will it be the same as 304SS that listed in Fig HA-1 ?

RE: Young's Modulus for SA240-304L at 950F?

B31.3 might have it in appendix C.
It might not be in IID due to restriction in maximum application temperature.

RE: Young's Modulus for SA240-304L at 950F?

(OP)
It does listed in B31.3, Appendix C, Table C-6, but it indicates for TP304, 310, 316, etc. I am not sure if it is the same for 304L. Anyone please help.
Also, I notice E value in B31.3 is 3-5% higher than Section II Part D. Do not know why.

RE: Young's Modulus for SA240-304L at 950F?

Why are you looking in Fig HA-3? Table TM-1 has Young's Modulus values for Material Group G (to which 304L belongs) up to 1500°F.
