Defining vehicles with OAPI

Defining vehicles with OAPI

Defining vehicles with OAPI

(OP)
Hi. This is my first message here. I am triying to perform some calculations with moving loads with the SAP2000 v15 software. My idea was to use the OAPI, but, after reading the OAPI help document, and websurfing the forum,,I have come to the conclusion that there a lot of commans that are not accesible via the OAPI methodology. I have prior experince with VBA in Excel and Acess. Does anybody know if there is particular way for defining lanes and vehicles with the OAPI? I
Thanks

Hi. After thinking about it for a while, i think that i have found a way to define the path and the vehicles. First, we must keep in mindo that sap storesnthe all the data of the model in a databases, with the extensión sdb. Sap has an import export feature that allows the user to incorporate data to the database. That way, with this feature we can define certains aspects that seem to not be possible to define directly with the vba commands, like the path in a moving lane load case. I have not yet tried what i explain, but i think it could work.

RE: Defining vehicles with OAPI

Hi.if you can define path and moving load with this way, please send stages for me(the codes you define)

hi. finally i did what i wanted. but i have come to a new problem. the oapi does not seem to have a commend to import / export *mdb or *xls files, like the commad you have in the user interface in the sap2000. Does anybody know how to import-export via VBA in SAP 2000? If you want my code, just ask.
Thanks in advance!!!
