Spring Back simulation in Abaqus/Explicit

Spring Back simulation in Abaqus/Explicit

Spring Back simulation in Abaqus/Explicit

(OP)
hi all my dear friends.
Im working on a deep drawing process with Abaqus. I work with Abaqus/Explicit. how can I simulate the "spring back" in Abaqus/Explicit???...

thank a lot!...

RE: Spring Back simulation in Abaqus/Explicit

If you want to use Explicit, then you might think about adding some mass scaling to speed up the simulation. But of course not too much, to increase the inertia behavior of your structure.

Springback analysis are usually done in A/Standard. So the results of Explicit are taken and used with an Import analysis (*Import) in Standard.

RE: Spring Back simulation in Abaqus/Explicit

hi to all
how to do it with abaqus/standard

RE: Spring Back simulation in Abaqus/Explicit

Do what? Import the results from Explicit and calculate the springback in a static analysis?
