IF/THEN statement in Document Properties revision

IF/THEN statement in Document Properties revision

This is super-simple - it's got to be. I just don't know how to search for it - I think. I know how to design parts with IF/THEN equations - no problem.

...But if I have a part - Revision - a,b,c - The description is 'preliminary working' - Once the revision hits '1' - then the part is 'released' - How do I tell SolidWorks that IF revision = 1 THEN Revision Description = 'Initial Release' ?

RE: IF/THEN statement in Document Properties revision

I'm going to say you can't, at least not within SolidWorks itself. I do believe you could achieve it via PDM though. Maybe in a design table?

Thanks. That's the answer I arrived at. We're getting EPDM soon - so I believe I can work something out with that.
