Low amperage draw motor

Low amperage draw motor

(OP)
We are looking for someone to custom make a low amperage draw motor for a water pump on a custom built air to water cooling system that we have installed on a four stroke Yamaha 1000cc engine.
We have sent thu stator away and had it rebuilt to its MAX output but it still is shy of 15 amps to run all the accessories on thu sled and it was suggested to reduce the present water pump motor to a low draw one so we have thu correct amperage that thu stator can handle.
PLEEZ email me anyone who can custom make this motor for us- jimofjandnsteel@gmail.com- THX !!!

RE: Low amperage draw motor

I suppose you are not able to reduce the size of the alternator pulley, or increase the size of any accessory pulleys?

There are no pulleys- a spline shaft onto an empellor-we NEED 2 custom make a low amperage draw motor- THX.!!!

RE: Low amperage draw motor

Power draw on a motor running a centrifugal pump is related to the flow of water being pumped. Need less flow? Trim the impeller- you'll get less flow and hence less current draw. Leave the impeller the same and changing the motor won't help, I'm afraid.

THX- I will pass this onto thu guy who iz wrking on thu system.!!!
