There is a parameter in MSC NASTRAN to resolve double-dependency issues. PARAM,AUTOMSET,YES
Is there a comparable parameter to use in NEi NASTRAN?

RE: NEi NASTRAN Paremeter

Hello!,
With NX NASTRAN the card "PARAM,AUTOMPC,YES" relieves the need to carefully define rigid elements (or MPCs) so as to not have a conflict of the m-sets between elements. In addition, any redundant constraints will be eliminated.

"PARAM,AUTOMPC,YES" specifies that the software automatically selects the m-set dofs rather than use the m-set values as specified on MPC or RIGID element cards (RBE*, RBAR, RROD, etc.) in the bulk data definition, but I always suggest to make things right at the meshing time, to avoid double dependency is in you hands!. I am not friend at all to use this parameter by default!.

Best regards,
Blas.

Unfortunately, the PARAM,AUTOMPC,YES card does not work with NEi NASTRAN.
