Well, the machine broke through the shotcreteed wall of the cutter head pit at 11:20 AM today and with a large vertical jolt at that. Felt like a small earthquake just a couple of blocks away. Now they can remove and repair the cutter head. The machine moved about 20 feet over the last three days to finally reach the pit.

I propose to rename Bertha, "Thumper".
