fast depressurization system

fast depressurization system

(OP)
Hi
NFPA 850 established fast depressurization system like a mechanical passive system designed to depressurize the transformer a few milliseconds after an occurrence of an electrical fault. Currently there are several systems in market offering this kind of working but I realized that some of these count with valves as main devices in order to clear oil from the transformer. ¿Is a valve a passive mechanical device? I dont think so but some dealers insist that it is right.

Thanks for your help

David
