I am facing problem of regular failure of LVDT transducer in hydro project .The aux supply voltage is 24 volt DC .We have connected -ve of the 24 volt Dc to the ground . The grid resistance of earth mat is 2 ohm . Pl. suggest some solution

RE: regular damage of LVDT transducer

Are you suggesting that there is a potential difference that kills the LVDT? That should be very easy to verify with an ordinary volt-meter.

I really hope that you are nut running the LVDT on DC. That will kill it. They are usually supplied with a few volts at 1 - 10 kHz.
