NX 7.5 Sheet Scale Settings

NX 7.5 Sheet Scale Settings

NX 7.5 Sheet Scale Settings

(OP)
Hi All,
In drafting when we Insert or Edit a sheet there is a scale drop down menu availble. There are some default scales (8:1, 4:1, 2:1 1:1 etc..) available in the drop down list. Is there any customer default settings to change those default scales. Actually our company scales are slightly different than NX default scales.
If anybody know the solution please advise on this. Thankyou in advance.

RE: NX 7.5 Sheet Scale Settings

While there is no way to alter the default Drawing View scales provided in NX, when using the View Creation Wizard or when simply placing views manually on the Drawing there is an option, at the bottom of the list of default scales, titled 'Ratio', which will allow you to define whatever scale that you wish to use.

If these Drawing view scales are going to be used consistently you could create your own set of Drawing templates with the standard views already defined using your company's standard scales. That way you would not to stop and set the scale for the Base View each time you create a Drawing using templates which do not have any pre-defined views.
