Is there a way to turn off the context menu tool bar

(OP)
Hi All,

NX8.5 .. Is there a way I can turn off context menu tool bar? Can this be user controlled and not site standard controlled?

Iam referring to the toolbar which pops up when I select a body/component in the graphics..

Appreciate your help.

Best Regards,

RE: Is there a way to turn off the context menu tool bar

First off, why? It's there as a tool to enhance your productivity by providing you with immediate access to the most often used functions and options when you select a particular item. And it's also fully customizable in the sense that you can add your own options and functions as you see fit for your type of work as well as remove the ones that you don't think should be there. With this in mind, if you wish to stop the 'Shortcut Toolbar' from appearing on any particular object, simply go into Customize, select the object of interest so that the 'Shortcut Toolbar' appears and then DELETE all the icons on the toolbar and hit OK. Now when you select the particular object, there will be 'Shortcut Toolbar' displayed.
