Fluorosilicic Acid PEL Risk

Fluorosilicic Acid PEL Risk

(OP)
Hello,

I'm trying to determine what typical concentrations of fluorine may result in a typical FSA feed system. For the sake of being conservative, lets assume that the fluoride is stored in a one room well house with poor ventilation and the operator leaves the cap off of...lets say...a 30 gallon fluoride tank.

Really I'm trying to determine what the likelihood is that a water system operator would be exposed to levels of fluorine in excess of the PEL (2.5 mg/m^3) as part of their day to day job, assuming the occasional leak. And the required OSHA safety apparatuses for a typical FSA installation (air quality monitoring? tight fitting respirator?)

Thanks
