Stainless Steel Finish - Clean Rooms

Stainless Steel Finish - Clean Rooms

(OP)
Does stainless steel typically require a polished finish in a pharmaceutical clean room?

Say: ALL STAINLESS STEEL SHALL HAVE A NO. 4 STANDARD POLISH FINISH (APPROXIMATELY 150/180 GRIT).

RE: Stainless Steel Finish - Clean Rooms

Often each user has his own requirements.
A fine brush finish is common, but you need to know the spec.

Based on my research a No.4 Satin finish is generally adequate.

RE: Stainless Steel Finish - Clean Rooms

I would be shocked if it didn't have a #4 finish in a pharmaceutical area.
