Good morning all,

Normally stainless steel material is exempted from painting requirement.

How about duplex material ?

My understanding this duplex material is anti corrosion material.

Duplex is CRA material, but Painting requirement is mostly depend on Operating Temperature.
in Some Project specify, for Operating Pressure Above 60 deg, so it need to be painted.

Take the money budgeted for paint, and passivate 'pickle' the duplex.
