Do we need insulation kit for carbon steel with internal coating(fbe or hdpe) to cra??

also advise for carbon steel with internal coating to carbon steel with cra cladding ..

For flange face, if is it coated with fbe coating, and why do we need insulation gasket if connecting two different metals ??

RE: insulation kit

Coupling coated carbon steel to CRA in a corrosive environment is about the worst thing that can be done. Coatings can contain pinholes, thus exposing a very small area of anodic carbon steel. Your main client generally requires you to consult API RP 571 and the Energy Institute Guidance for corrosion management in oil and gas production and processing. Both of these documents will give you further guidance on galvanic corrosion.
