Change Line Thickness of Solid Models

Change Line Thickness of Solid Models

Change Line Thickness of Solid Models

(OP)
I've looked through the UG settings for changing the line thickness of the edges of a solid model. I can't seem to find them. Does anyone know where to change/set the line font thickness settings??? I am using NX7.5 Thank you for your help.

RE: Change Line Thickness of Solid Models

If you want to change the 'Line Width' of the edges of an existing Solid body, select the Solid body (make sure it's the actual Solid BODY object and not a feature), press MB3 and select the 'Edit Display' item. Once the dialog opens, you'll find options for both Line Font and Width in the 'Basic' section of the dialog, Just select the desired 'Line Width' (in NX 7.5, there are only 3 different 'Widths' to choose from).

Now if you want to set the option for any new Solids being created, this can be set at...

Customer Defaults -> Gateway -> Object -> Solid Body

... for any new parts being created from scratch.

Now if you have an existing file and you'd like to change the defaults before you start creating new Solid bodies, go to...

Preferences -> Object -> General

...and select the Type 'Solid Body' and then select the desired 'Width' and hit OK.
