Allowable stress

Allowable stress

(OP)
Hi,
While calculating allowable stress value using sec II part D & code of construction is sec Viii Div 1 for SA-240 304 at 150F, it show just "-"(hyphen)only. that symbol refers to what?

Can I use that material at 150F? How can I find the allowable stress value at 150F for that material?

Regards,
Vijayan

RE: Allowable stress

The material is permitted at 150 deg F, the ... means the allowable stress is not reported but can be interpolated between 100 deg F and 200 deg F, which have reported values.
