help me understand these symbols please.

help me understand these symbols please.

help me understand these symbols please.

(OP)
I searched internet and this forum and could not find. The area marked red I do not understand what is going on.I have two "ice cube" relays with six connections each + the coil with all the wires pulled off.
I think the marked area is what I am looking for but I do not recognize this symbol. This is a commercial overhead door operator. As it is I push in the open contactor, it latches and cuts of when up. Push the close contactor it starts to close but relay will not latch. I let go it stops. Nothing happens when I push open, close buttons. I would very much appreaciate help with this. The relay is numbered, but not the drawing.

RE: help me understand these symbols please.

Did you try asking them?

There's a phone number in the lower right corner. It says "Questions? Call Domino Engineering Corporation 800-736-6466"

You have the original drawing and may be able to see the nuber better.

If they do not answer, their home-page is at http://www.dominoengineering.com/

Half full - Half empty? I don't mind. It's what in it that counts.

thank you, and yes, I tried.
It was Saturday and no one would be available until noon my time today(Monday). I just through it out here hoping someone would recognize the symbol. I believe the bottom and top are normally closed contacts and the middle is normally open, just wanted to make sure. It seems to make sense with the exception I am unsure what is internal with the unit marked SRC which stops, reverse and closes the door if a switch on the bottom is made.(safety)

thank you again. I am opening and closing manually until noon, most likely.

RE: help me understand these symbols please.

My guess - and I do stress that it is a guess - is that the top contact is the common, the middle is NC and bottom NO.

It's a horrible drawing. I usually re-draw these rat's nest sketches into a proper drawing before I attempt to use them because the effort expended in doing so is more than compensated for by the cursing and bad temper which is avoided. smile
