convert NX part to (*.dwg) give me a non smooth boddy with low resolution

(OP)
hi every one,
I drew a cylinder using NX9 and when i exported it as (*.dwg/dxf), it gave me a non smooth body consist of alot of faces and surfaces.
so , what should i do to obtain a smooth body?

You probably exported the arcs as polylines.

Also make sure you have the model fully loaded. (Use lightweight representations off when loading part/assembly)

The dxf/dwg format is generally used for 2D geometry. I know the formats "support" 3D geometry, but the few times I have tried it the results were - less than optimal. If you need to export 3D geometry to a format for use on another CAD system, see if the other system can import (in order of preference) a parasolid, STEP, or IGES file (it usually can import at least one of these file types).

NX cannot export "good" geometry to DXF/DWG. It either becomes " a million" separate faces or Facets. -Forget this format for exporting 3D Models from NX!
Newer versions of Autocad can Read NX partfiles native, AND JT files with "BREP". Both give perfect results in AutoCad.
