Transformers Grounding

(OP)
Dear All Respected Professionals.

Power/ Distribution Transformer body Grounding and Neutral Earthing should be connected separtlty or to be connected with same earthing net?

As i did't find any specific standard.

Please Help me to find the solution.

Thanking in Advance.
Zabih Ullah Faizi.

RE: Transformers Grounding

Whether you can get away with a common HV and LV earth depends on the allowable rise of earth potential, prospective earth fault current and the impedance of the earth grid. Some Companies have rules of thumb, but there isn't a universally applicable answer.

Marmite

RE: Transformers Grounding

In the US, multi-grounded primary neutrals must be connected to an ground electrode at each transformer. See NEC Rule 96C.
