Arial text printing hollow

Arial text printing hollow

(OP)
I use an Epson 1270 and the Arial text I use on my drawings has started to print hollow ie: outline.  Where do I look to alter this setting?

RE: Arial text printing hollow

Hey Nob,

Have you checked if the 'text fill' box if checked before you print? The box can be seen when you type 'PLOT' command in ACAD 14.

Hope it helps

Daniel

RE: Arial text printing hollow

if you are using acad 2000, type in TEXTFILL, @ the command line prompt then 1

Also, check any of your hide settings for printing viewports as hidden. MVIEW has a "hide" option, and the PLOT command has a check box for plotting hidden views. These can result in hollow text and arrowheads.
Good Luck

RE: Arial text printing hollow

Hi There

With regards to your arial font printing hollow, was'nt there a known bug with the Arial font in 2000, sometime printing hollow, double size, half size or sometime not at all???
