NX 10 Post Builder, Application Error Message

NX 10 Post Builder, Application Error Message

NX 10 Post Builder, Application Error Message

(OP)
Hi All,

Just started to use NX 10 Post Builder. When the post builder is launched, it gives me an "application error" message.
See attached screenshot of the error message.

When I use NX 9 post builder, it is okay, it doesn't give me this error.

How do I fix this? Is it an installation problem?

Thanks in advance!

RE: NX 10 Post Builder, Application Error Message

There was an SFB put out by Siemens about NX 10 Post Builder.
Not sure if the message you get is the same as the SFB:

A problem has been found where Post Builder in NX10.0 does not run on
Windows platforms.

Languages files submitted to NX10.0 for Post Builder's localization
contain errors that have caused Post Builder not to run properly.

REMEDY:

This issue can be resolved by:

1) Downloading the ‘PB10.0 SFB 08Dec2014 msgs.7z’ from our ftp site located
at:

https://download.industrysoftware.automation.sieme...

and unzip the file.

2)Remove the original ‘msgs’ directory from the Post Builder's install
and replace it with the new one in the zip file.
