Hide Cordinate systems

Hi.

Is there a way to hide this cordinate system?
It is on layer 1, so i cant just hide that layer.

Sorry for my english.

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

Hi,
Press Ctrl+W. There you will be able to hide Coordinate systems, Datum Planes etc.

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

(OP)
Also on a drawing?
I cant find coordinate systems there

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

You will find the under Type=Geometry. Try to hide that type.

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

Take it out of your reference set if it is a part drawing. Is this a part drawing or an assembly drawing? What is owning the coordinate system?

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

(OP)
Is is a assembly drawing and it is a imported component that own the coordinate system

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

Probably datums if it's something being brought in from an imported component.

i already tried to hide the datums, but that didnt help.

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

Can you show a picture, it would help a lot?

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

What reference set is the part using in the assembly? Is it using the enitre part reference or a model reference set? Right click on the component in the assembly and set the reference set to model. Also check the reference set in your part to make sure they are set correctly. Format Reference sets.

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

Hi Mike,

Those are datums (a datum co-ordinate system), which is a feature in the part navigator.

The best thing to do would be to change the displayed reference set for your component (by right clicking in the assembly navigator) to SOLID, which should only contain solids. That way, the datum co-ordinate system is never brought from your component into the assembly.

RE: Hide Cordinate systems

Make sure you're talking about the Datum Coordinate System and NOT the WCS. The WCS can only be toggled ON/OFF using the 'Display WCS' icon.
