Color fill a drawing sketch

(OP)
Hello.

First, sorry my bad english.

Can anybody help me with my problem.
I have a sketch in my draing, and i want to fill it with red color. Is there anyway to do this?

RE: Color fill a drawing sketch

Use area fill (Insert -> Annnotation -> Area Fill), in settings change Pattern to solid fill colour red, then just click in the sketch (if selection option is "Point in Region").

Best regards,

Michaël.

I just have one follow up.

When I uncheck monochrome turns all lines to blue.
Is there a way to change the line color to black?

RE: Color fill a drawing sketch

If you're not using Monochrome display, you'll need to use 'View Dependent Edit' to change the color of all of the Drawing curves to Black.

Or...
Edit your view style, on the "visible lines" tab, change the color to black; repeat for "hidden lines" and "smooth edges".

If this is something you will use often, change your template parts and/or customer defaults to the desired colors.

Yea, I forget about that approach. Good call Cowski...

Actually this is a much better solution since any new curves will automatically update to black as well. And, as mentioned, if this is going to be your normal style of output, you can preset these colors in Customer Defaults or when you create your templates.
