MPI for branch weld from inside

(OP)
We are building small piping components as per B31.3 usually all are under 10" and smaller. In each of the piping component 1.5" reinforced LWN nozzles are required at 45deg inclination with set on design.customer drawing calls complete root flushing for nozzle.
the piping drawing calls inside MPI 100% for all branch weld post root flushing. Can this kind of MPI is possible from inside.I discuss this issue with 3 level III.But they r of opinion that such MPI is not possible. ...even with AC and permanent magnetic technique it is quite difficult. ..can any expert put insite on this unique requirements.

We suggested alternate LPI but customer want only MPI

RE: MPI for branch weld from inside

Ask them if they want you to cut off the nozzles in order that you can do the testing in the manner that they require.
