Bolting to two independent bolt patterns
Bolting to two independent bolt patterns
(OP)
Hi,
We are currently designing a fixture to join two shaker tables. Each shaker table has the same hole pattern but 70.375" +/- .25" apart. If it was a fixture for a single shaker I know how to dimension the fixture using the fixed fastener formula. But the addition of a second shaker is throwing me off.
Can you guys help me dimension this using GD&T? Attached is the layout of the shaker tables, the hole pattern of each table and the draft copy of the new fixture.
Thanks.

RE: Bolting to two independent bolt patterns
However, this will result in somewhat large clearance holes.
Might be better to go for slot, with the patterns for the 2 different shakers perpendicular to each other.
What is Engineering anyway: FAQ1088-1484: In layman terms, what is "engineering"?
