Plastic material selection for this walled components
Plastic material selection for this walled components
(OP)
Will anybody help me to select suitable plastic for very thin walled and very small components?
Minimum wall thickness is 0.3 mm.
I have options of Nylon6, Nylon 6.6 and Nylon 11/12.
Application of components is to hold very small metal pins during measurement. It may come across some oils otherwise will be used in controlled environment.

If you need even better performance then you might look at syndiotactic polystyrene (from Idemitsu) or Vectra liquid crystalline polymer (from Celanese).

Someone also suggested me to add some percentage of glass filled nylon in it.
