Hello!
I’d like to know, what is the most suitable elastic-plastic material model in stamping/forming analysis (Abq Standard), where we are dealing with large strains (=< 15%).
What's more, there is a need to include cyclic plasticity for two reverse bending cycles prediction of stamped part (bend + unbend).
Abaqus documentation says, that when one is analyzing cyclic behavior of steel in several first cycles, where cycle is not stabilized yet, it’s recommended to use *HARDENING=COMBINED, DATA TYPE=HALF CYCLE for kinematic part of hardening, and *CYCLIC HARDENING, PARAMETERS for isotropic part (to establish size of yield surface).
What’s more, I’d like to know, what is the difference between HALF CYCLE material model and tabular data for let’s say (n-)linear hardening model.
Please let me know, if what I’ve written is true. Thanks in advance for any help given!
