(OP)
I am doing dynamic explicit analysis of tube spinning process which comprises outer diameter reduction and also thickness change of a rotating tube during the process by one or more rollers. in simulation, I want to impose rotation boundary condition around tube central axis on roller rather than imposing on tube,(spiral path) because the roller is modeled as discrete rigid and applying boundary condition on it reduce the computation time. in ABAQUS, when I impose rotation boundary condition on roller and introduce the tube central coordinate system as CSYS, nevertheless, roller still rotate around its axis. actually Abaqus does'nt recognize tube central axis as rotation axis
My input file has been attached for further information.
can anyone help me? how should I define BC that rotate the roller around tube, i.e spiral path.
any help would really be appreciated.

I applied your suggestion, and it worked, but the problem is that when the roller conduct a radial movement in first step (before starting to move along aforementioned spiral path) to tangent its outer surface with tube surface, as a result the position of roller reference point change during first step of analysis. but I have defined intended boundary condition in second step. and constraint that you have suggested remain with radius before the change in the location of roller reference point. so the roller will rotate non-symetrically. actually it is in contact with surface of tube in some region but at the other part it leave the contact.
hope I could put the problem simply.
