Is there a setting in AutoCAD 2002 that when you use the UNDO command it does not also undo all the zooming that has occurred with the mouse wheel.  In other words, when I UNDO a command it also undoes every zoom that I have done, is there a way not to undo the zooming?

RE: zooming

In AutoCAD 2000 when I used the UNDO command, it would UNDO only the last command that I performed (i.e. drawing a line, copy object, move object, etc.) and my drawing view (what is on the computer screen at the time) would remain exactly the same, so if I was zoomed in on something and undid a line command I drew somewhere not on the screen, the drawing view would remain the same.  Now in AutoCAD 2002 when I use the UNDO, my zooming changes to where I drew that line (obviously because I drew the line when I could see it in the drawing).  Understandably, this feature may be good to some, however, I would rather not have the UNDO command change my screen views also.  Particularly because I primarily use the scroll on the mouse for changing my drawing views.

I have wondered this same thing, from what I have found by asking various cad techs is that its an unchangable autocad feature.  There are various pro's and cons of using microstation verses CAD and this is one that goes to microstaion as it only UNDO's normal commands and not navigation.  In ACAD HELP @ this path (UNDO command, Auto option)  it shows what cammands UNDO will effect. Wish I could have offered a positive answer.
