Ability to constrain new sketch to an existing sketch Nx8

Ability to constrain new sketch to an existing sketch Nx8

(OP)
Hello,

I have used Nx in its earlier versions and I was able to create a new sketch and constrain off of existing sketches. Is there a customer default which I need to activate in order to be able to constrain sketches to each other?

Thanks in advance

RE: Ability to constrain new sketch to an existing sketch Nx8

Are you running NX 8.0 or NX 8.5? I'm asking because there was a change made in NX 8.5 which some people have had some issue with until the realize how to use the new 'feature' and your issue sounds like this NX 8.5 issue. Now if you are using NX 8.0, the only thing that I can think of that might cause the problem you've described is if the Sketch you're attempting to reference was created AFTER the Sketch that you're currently editing.

Have you checked the selection intent? It might be set to active sketch only...
