Hi,

I would like to know if this is available in NX10? A perfect example is when you grind/resharpen an Endmill everyday in machine-shops.

Thanks.

Cowski,
Thanks for the reply.
It seems that our friends at Cypress have something missing what SolidWorks' developers had for years. And they used NX's parasolid geometrical kernel for it.

And regarding Mark Rief's comments in this thread http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=355905

When you are a software developer with a good mathematical background, you don't need to do this in a such a crude way by subtracting million milling toolpath points. Or maybe that is true for the NX folks especially in the toolpath 3d verification since it really sucks and is still in primitive age when compared with the other cadcam systems.

RE: Swept-cut with a solid body along a helical path

Is this functionality going to require a special license? I notice pocket blend was available in NX9 but is now part of NX10's Aero Design package requiring a separate license.
