NX 10

NX 10

(OP)
Hello everyone!

I guess the majority already have some knowledge about the launch of NX10!

I'm excited because I saw that this new version has some improvements in 2D,

However... Does anyone know if it has improved the creation of drawing templates?

RE: NX 10

what type of improvements are you looking for?

RE: NX 10

Faster and easier ways of doing custom templates

So far I have applied different methods which are usually long and impractical, besides having to make templates for each sheet type, because I when resize the sheet... the formatting is lost

I've seen some friends perform the same templates in Inventor and make it so much easier

RE: NX 10

Do you use TeamCenter?

RE: NX 10

In NX10, the title block will reposition automatically when the drawing border is changed, so if the sheet size changes, the title block will reposition.
From that I can't see why you can't make only one template for all possible sheets sizes.

Hello Jerry1423

No, we do not use Teamcenter

Hello Phoenx

We designed a template per sheet because the title block was not kept in position when resizing ...

In addition, block size title must change according to the size of sheet
