Cleaning or hiding the undeformed wireframe

Cleaning or hiding the undeformed wireframe

Cleaning or hiding the undeformed wireframe

(OP)
Happy New Year everybody!

I imported a solid which has quite a lot of wireframe in the design.
Plotting the results of this solid being compressed, this wireframe is quite disturbing visually.
I'd like to get rid of all the excess lines in the part, so a clean as possible outline of the part or maybe even get rid of the undeformed wireframe completely if possible.

Can I do so by changing a plotting setting or do I need to clean up the model, and if so how do I go about this?

Thanks.
