Analysis date and time

How date and time can come automatically along with analysis result on the screen?

RE: Analysis date and time

Thanks for your reply.
However i did not mean the date and time on output file. I ment automatic posting of date and time on the screen showing the analysis result as it happens in ansys.

RE: Analysis date and time

it depends on what pre&post you use.

this is a nastran forum. pl. raise this query on the respective pre&post (patran, femap etc) for a response.

RE: Analysis date and time

Hi

Im femap you can use View - Options - Tools and View Style - View Legend - Legend Style - 3.. Titles, Model Nane, Date.

But that only gives you the time for the plotted figure. I don't know of any automatic way to get the date from the f06 file onto the plot. You could do it manually with a text label but that does not really answer your question.

But perhaps you don't use Femap.

Regards

Thomas
