Patran Nastran 2013: Trouble Importing Entire .CSV File When Creating a Spatial Field

(OP)
Hi,
I am still a mechanical engineering student and also still pretty new to Patran Nastran 2013.

I am having trouble importing the full data file into Patran. I changed the default maximum data amount from 30 to 407, but only about 51 or so rows of data will import. What can cause this problem?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RE: Patran Nastran 2013: Trouble Importing Entire .CSV File When Creating a Spatial Field

I tried with an example csv having 500 entries and had no problems importing it in patran.

Can you post your csv file?

create a spatial field in patran with let's say five rows and export the cvs file. Look at the exported format and use the same to import your field...

Hey thanks, I figured out the problem

The data had to be filtered more before I could upload it.

However, I do have another problem.

Is there a way to upload "load vs displacement" data to create a hyperelastic material? I'm trying to get away from using gap elements and instead creating a 3d solid for the bushing material.

Thanks
