I am looking for the analytical solution of stresses in a multi layered quarter-space soil.
Does anyone have any suggestion?

thanks a lot in advance!

None unless you can find it in Poulos and Davis' Elastic Solutions for Soil and Rock Mechanics. Google it - there is a link to a download on the web.

Thanks for your answer.
I had a look to Poulos and Davis, I could find it, it seems to be a quite specific problem.

is there perhaps anything to compute stresses in simpler problem such as quarter-space soil under uniform pressure or diplacement?

thanks a lot in advance!

Use an elastic layer analysis program for pavements or do it manually using techniques give in Yoder and Witczak.

Hey thanks a lot for the tips,
Actually i've used already a linear program and it is ok, but I am desperatevly looking for some analytical formula because I need to make a FEM-analytical comparison

The book you suggested is really good!
but I couldn't find anything about a quarte-space...
Do you know where I can find it either in this book or anywhere else?

thanks a lot in advance!
