Word VBA : Looping from start to end and copy contents

Word VBA : Looping from start to end and copy contents

Word VBA : Looping from start to end and copy contents

(OP)
I have a word document of around 230 pages. It contain text paragraphs and tables. It was edited by

different persons over a period of time. So using different formatting for similar pattern of paragraphs and

tables. Now my task is to modify whole document to confirm to some predefined formatting.

I don't want to modify the original document which is a bloody mess right now. I want to start from scratch

by looping through the document, copying only text and table cell text values and pasting it to new

document with the predefined formatting rules (Font, size, table properties etc).

Please guide me how to loop/traverse/iterate through word document using VBA? I am familiar with VBA

btw.

Thanks in Advance
Jagandeep Singh

Don't really think you need VBA.

How about copy the entire story, and
in the target document, right-click
Paste Options > Merge Formatting (M) or
Paste Options > Keep Text Only (P), whichever fits your need.
