Angle pattern globe valve

Angle pattern globe valve

Angle pattern globe valve

(OP)
Dear members

As far as I know angle type globe valves are suitable for two phase flow. from what point of view this type can tolerate
such flows?

RE: Angle pattern globe valve

Please specify your question further!

RE: Angle pattern globe valve

(OP)
I am asking about the reason why angle globe valves are suitable for two phase flow?

RE: Angle pattern globe valve

To comment sensible on any valve, you would normally like to have most possible of following information:

Fluid?
Clean fluid?
Temperature?
Pressure? (fore, after. differential, variations)?
Flow, high, low, normal for each phase.
On/off or regulation, if regulation specify variations
Approx. size/range of valves
Valce pressure class , type of end/valve class.
Any particular form, art or brand of valve (in addition to angle)
Any other significant operational or flow data?
If necessary operatinal data (For actuatorr selection)
etc. etc.

RE: Angle pattern globe valve

An angle valve is suitable for 2-phase flow because if you fill the pipe halfway with water, the other half is filled with air, and you have 2-phase flow.

If you connect 220V-3 phase electric to the pipe, then you are allowed to multiply the 3-phase electric to the 2-phase fluid to get 6-phase flow.
