Lock aspect ratio

Lock aspect ratio

Lock aspect ratio

(OP)
Hi all,

Is it possible to lock the aspect ration inside a table?

I currently have a table with the aspect ratio set to 0.775 and i am wanting to keep it that way, i am happy for the size of the text to change as long as the aspect ration stays the same. is there any way to lock it? i clicked 'auto size text' but that said that i may modify the the aspect ration, any experience?

Thanks

James

RE: Lock aspect ratio

I assume that we are speaking of the aspect ratio of the text in the table and not the table itself.
You should be able to pick the table itself , - Cell Style and set the default aspect ratio for all text in the table, and then have the option to override the setting cell by cell.
I can imagine though that if you use rules to "squeeze in" more text than would normally fit into the cells, that the aspect ratio is in danger.

- The tables in NX has a history of being a bit tricky to learn how to behave... it might take a few attempts.

Regards,
Tomas
