Cross Walk Striping Tabulation

Cross Walk Striping Tabulation

(OP)
Is there a standard for tabulating the square footage of a cross walk or do you just add up the area of the individual stripes along the crossing?

The specification you are using should spell it out. For example, New York State DOT measures crosswalks and stop lines in terms of the equivalent length of 4" wide stripe, so a 1' x 24' crosswalk line would be 72 linear feet.
