Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good hydraulic simulation package? Even any free on web would be helpfull.

Regards

RE: hydraulic simulation software

don't look for any free "simulation" programs. You can find a steady state, pressure loss with flowrate in a water network (EPAnet), but that's about it. Anything else, get out the debit card.

you must get smarter than the software you're using.

RE: hydraulic simulation software

You haven't told us about the types of systems that you want to analyze, therefore we cannot recommend a tool.

IMHO, the venerable and versatile AFT FATHOM has been used with great success for thousands of hydraulic simulation for many, many years.

If you want to do some kind of transient analysis ( waterhammer, shock analysis) its going to cost you a lot more..
