Slide Rail/Slide Bearing Type

Slide Rail/Slide Bearing Type

Slide Rail/Slide Bearing Type

(OP)
Hello there,

I have been looking far and wide for this type of bearing/rail system that I have seen before but can't figure out what it is called to search it on the web and order it. Basically it is a curved square tube with a smaller curved square tube inside of it which slides in and out. I would assume it has ball bearings. I need this slide rail to open the lid on a cabinet up and back. I have attached a sketch of what it should look like. Any help is much appreciated.

RE: Slide Rail/Slide Bearing Type

Can't open your file. Are you talking about a hidden hinge?

RE: Slide Rail/Slide Bearing Type

Jboggs,

Maybe a problem with your viewer? It opened ok for me.

Basically a rectangular section bar sliding inside a similar-shaped tube, but with the whole thing curved into a quadrant shape.

These hinges provide the same motion in a different shape: Southco. It looks like they are specifically for applications like cabinet doors, would they work for you?
