Drawing - can't remove sheets in model

Drawing - can't remove sheets in model

Drawing - can't remove sheets in model

(OP)
I need to do a quick drawing for a model. The model has only solid bodies showing.

Then I go to create a drawing and the sheets I used in the model to split bodies are showing up. I have to save the model as a dumb part as a workaround. Any easier way to suppress the sheets in the drawings?

RE: Drawing - can't remove sheets in model

Have you tried to 'Hide' them? Or move them to an invisible layer?

Hiding the sheet in the actual modeling does not eliminate it from appearing in the drawing. I was thinking that whatever I saved the model as appearing like would be the result of the drawing.

Your suggestion of moving the sheet to another layer did work. thank you for that idea.
