Rotor Analysis

Rotor Analysis

Rotor Analysis

(OP)
Hi all!

I need a little help. Are you familiar with muclhers?
Well i need a help with that, with rotor analysis, this is something similar like mulcher.
How to make rotor dynamic analysis in Femap, so i could see how are dynamic situation in this rotor? If those adds on rotor are not on good spot, this would be in big unbalance, so i need help where i could learn more about such problems, how to model and solve this... Do you have some tutorials or something? I have used Femap before, but onlz for static analysis.

For me its not problem to make model and mesh that, but i need help about setting up analysis. Thanks in advance!

Best regards!

RE: Rotor Analysis

I don't know exactly what you want to do, but for a dynamic analysis i would see if i could simplify it to a beam model with excentrc masses.
