Part does not show up in drawing view

Part does not show up in drawing view

Part does not show up in drawing view

(OP)
I'm using NX 7.5.5.4.

I have a master model drawing with some existing views. In the corresponding master model part assembly (it consists of about 25 components) I created a couple bodies (not components) but they do not show up in the drawing views when I go back to my drawing. The new bodies appear on the modeling side of the drawing file but not the drawing views. All layers are visible in the drawing views so I know it is not a layer-visible-in-view issue....Thanks

RE: Part does not show up in drawing view

Have the drawing views in question been added from the drawing file or from the master model file?

The views were created in the drawing file. I forgot to mention, when i create new views they show up in the new views, but not in the existing views.

RE: Part does not show up in drawing view

This sounds like a Visible in View problem. Visible in View overrides Layer Settings.

Go to Visible in View and select the view in the list (dont select the actual view) and then just click on Reset to Global, then just click cancel.

As soon as you select the reset to global button, it should set the Visible in View layers to match what the Layer Settings has set.
