Crosshair Color?

Crosshair Color?

Crosshair Color?

(OP)
In my Selection Preferences, I like to have my Crosshairs turned on. However. the bright white crosshairs every now and then will confuse me for a second because they are the same color as our dimension lines and such. I dont think there is a way to change their color, but I figured I would ask just in case there is a way and I missed it.

Is it possible?

RE: Crosshair Color?

Are you talking about the Full-Screen crosshairs? If so, if you look close you'll notice that the 'color' of the full-screen crosshairs is not actually a single color but rather it changes (from black thru white) based on the color of the background or the object it's passing over. This is done to assure that you will always see the crosshair irrespective of the color of the objects on the screen or the screen background itself.

Interesting, I have used it for a long time but never looked close enough to notice that. Though I do wish we could at least dim the crosshairs so they arent quite so dominant.

RE: Crosshair Color?

Try using a background that is neither pure Black nor pure White.
