Anchor bolts epoxy question
Anchor bolts epoxy question
(OP)
My contractor missed a set of anchor bolts and needed to epoxy a set to fix. He used powers AC100+gold epoxy, no problem there. The issue is he used anchor bolts that were slick on the embedded portion(only threaded on the projection). He has 8" embedment on a 3/4" bolt. Are there any test showing strength if bolts aren't full thread?

Include ALL dimensions, temperature at setting, setting time, hole dia, embed ida, embed length, etc.
Include forces normally expected and maximum loads.
Can you drill more embedded studs properly oriented between the new epoxied ones? If so, just cut out the backwards (slick-sided) studs.

Thanks for the input. I ended up having the contractor core the bolts out and epoxy using B7 Threaded rod. Wasn't worth the risk. Thanks again for all the input
